    Falkus Bespoke Joinery

    Crafting a refined visual identity for a modern, heritage-led joinery brand.

    Falkus is a bespoke joinery company defined by precision, heritage craftsmanship and tailored design. For this project, my aim was to create a brand identity that reflected the care, expertise and attention to detail invested in every piece of their work.

    Taking inspiration from the company’s strong tradition of craftsmanship, I developed an identity that balances traditional elegance with a more contemporary feel. The final design brings together timeless typography, a carefully considered colour palette and clean, refined layouts to create a visual system that feels both sophisticated and approachable.

    The Challenge

    Falkus produces high-quality bespoke joinery, but their visual identity needed to better communicate the craftsmanship and premium nature of their work.

    The challenge was to create a brand that honoured the company’s heritage while positioning them confidently within a modern, design-conscious market.

    The Approach

    I focused on building a refined and versatile identity system that could work across print, digital and future brand applications.

    The design centres around a combination of elegant serif typography and a clean modern sans-serif. This pairing helps reflect both the heritage and contemporary aspects of the brand.

    A deep navy colour palette forms the foundation of the identity, supported by softer blue and neutral tones. Together, these colours create a calm, confident and professional feel that reflects the quality and precision of Falkus’ work.

    Throughout the identity, I used generous spacing, clear hierarchy and restrained design details to echo the precision and care found in the company’s craftsmanship.

    The Outcome

    The final brand identity presents Falkus as a confident, high-quality joinery brand while staying true to its heritage roots.

    The result is a clean, sophisticated visual system that supports the brand across multiple touchpoints and helps position Falkus to appeal to architects, designers and discerning private clients.
